Chapter of the Year Award

The Chapter of the Year Award is presented in recognition of a Constituent Chapter whose collective efforts, leadership, and performance have demonstrated excellence across all areas of Chapter operations. This award honors a Chapter that has achieved measurable success while faithfully advancing the mission, standards, and values of the Terrell D. Hicklin Grand Chapter.

This distinction is awarded based on documented, quantifiable performance during the year, including:

    • Regular and consistent Chapter activity, evidenced by the successful conduct of scheduled convocations with documented attendance.
    • Full compliance with Grand Chapter administrative and financial requirements, including confirmation that 100 percent of reports, returns, and fees were submitted accurately and on time.
    • Demonstrated growth or retention of membership, reflected by a measurable increase in membership or sustained retention of existing Companions.
    • Delivery of structured Masonic education through a minimum of three documented educational sessions, lectures, or workshops during the year.
    • Successful execution of degree work, with completion of planned degrees and documented ritual proficiency.
    • Active participation in Grand Chapter, District, or Jurisdictional events, with Chapter representation at no less than 75 percent of official functions.
    • Meaningful engagement in charitable, community, or outreach activities, supported by verifiable participation and outcomes.

The Chapter of the Year Award recognizes Chapters that operate with unity, accountability, and purpose. Recipients exemplify organizational excellence, teamwork, and commitment to continuous improvement, serving as a model for other Chapters and strengthening the foundation of Royal Arch Masonry throughout the Jurisdiction.
