The Washington York Rite Consortium is pleased to welcome Companions, Illustrious Companions, and Sir Knights who desire to become members of Prince Hall York Rite of Washington.

Membership may be attained through Reclamation or through our Validation Process, depending on a Brother’s prior York Rite history.

Reclamation
Brethren who previously held membership in a recognized Prince Hall York Rite jurisdiction and are currently inactive or unaffiliated may seek reclamation. This process allows eligible members to restore their York Rite standing under the authority of the Prince Hall York Rite of Washington, subject to verification of prior membership and good standing.

Validation
Brethren who have completed York Rite degrees in another recognized Prince Hall jurisdiction, or whose records require confirmation due to jurisdictional changes or incomplete documentation, may request validation. This process ensures proper recognition of degrees and alignment with Prince Hall standards while preserving the integrity of the Rite.

All requests for reclamation or validation are reviewed with care, discretion, and respect for Masonic protocol. Our goal is to ensure accuracy, legitimacy, and harmony while providing a clear pathway for Brothers seeking to continue their York Rite journey in Washington.
