This medal recognizes not only military service, but also the continued commitment of these Sir Knights to the principles of Chivalric Masonry and the mission of the Grand Commandery.

This award stands as a visible tribute to sacrifice, patriotism, and dedication, acknowledging those who have answered the call of duty in defense of our nation while continuing to uphold the values of the Craft.

Eligibility for this award is extended to any Sir Knight in good standing who attends the Annual Grand Conclave and meets one of the following criteria:

  • Currently serving in an active or reserve component of the United States Armed Forces
  • Honorably discharged after faithful service in any branch of the United States military

Recipients of the Veteran’s Service Medal embody the ideals of duty, honor, courage, and service, reflecting the same virtues that define both military service and the Order of Knights Templar. Their dual commitment to country and Craft serves as an example to all Sir Knights within the Jurisdiction.

The presentation of this medal is a moment of solemn recognition and gratitude, ensuring that the service and sacrifice of our veteran Sir Knights are never forgotten.
